Interventional Neurologist
Job Duties: Use minimally invasive techniques to treat conditions affecting the brain and spinal cord. Acquire and examine patient clinical history, perform physical examination, choose, order and perform appropriate diagnostic tests and interpret results. Consult with physicians, nurses, patients and patients' families concerning treatment and care and transmission risks, prophylaxis and precautions. Refer cases to specialists as indicated, maintaining continuity of care. Provide medical direction to healthcare staff and assist in developing and implementing education, training and in-service programs for the healthcare staff. Various administrative duties and participate in committees. Maintain patient records according to hospital policies and procedures. Remain a member of the active staff of hospitals. Provide call coverage.

* License to practice medicine in Louisiana
* Completion of a neurology residency and completion of a neuroendovascular fellowship.
