Ameresco currently has a new opportunity for a Facility Analyst will work as a member of the Capital Planning Group to support the delivery of Facility Condition Assessments and implementation of our AssetPlanner software suite. This team delivers best-in-class solutions for clients nationwide by applying comprehensive facility evaluations with sound data analysis principles. Primary duties of this role include facility and asset data analysis, software setup and implementation, client support, and training.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform analysis and population of data within the Capital Planning and Project Planning modules of ASG's in-house software suite. Provide support for the Energy & Maintenance modules as required.
  • Manage, schedule and conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their capital assets and process information into Ameresco's AssetPlanner software.
  • Manage the quality assurance process to ensure that condition assessment data aligns with established standards. Provide feedback and guidance to internal and external building assessment teams.
  • Import existing client portfolio information into AssetPlanner including data mapping and analysis to ensure imported data is correctly transferred;
  • Perform advanced data analysis and database updates (bulk changes, imports, etc.).
  • Develop deliverables, dashboards and analysis methodologies for facility data.
  • Provide support, training, and guidance to Junior Data Analyst team members.
  • Develop cost estimates for facility repairs and asset replacement.
  • Participate in the implementation of AssetPlannerTM including configuration, client presentations and training sessions.
  • Provide active management of existing clients, including on-going ad-hoc support (phone, support line/service requests, and email), and annual check-ins;
  • Provide subject mater expertise to assist clients with best practices relating to ongoing data management and business processes to support the use of AssetPlannerTM.
  • Support Project Managers with project scheduling, time estimates, monthly status reports, and project delivery.
  • Assist with software testing, enhancement suggestions, and bug reporting;
  • Support Facility Condition Assessment activities in client facilities.
  • Identify business opportunities to provide clients with additional AssetPlanner modules, data support and/or consulting services.
  • Provide product demonstrations and assist the Business Development team with presentations and supporting material.
  • Compile and analyze Real Property Portfolio performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators as part of establishing Decision Development Frameworks for clients and their facilities.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction/Building Science.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree/certification a plus.
  • Data analyst experience with complex sets of data; experience working in a team; experience in facilities management, building science, construction cost estimating and/or engineering a plus; client/customer service experience a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, mobile and tablet technology; experience with asset management software such as AssetPlanner. Ability to learn new software applications quickly.
  • Demonstrated technical data analysis ability combined with the ability to work in a collaborative environment with end-users, clients and other members of the software development and implementation teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting tasks and priorities by breaking down complex tasks into manageable subtasks.
  • Professional and courteous demeanor, interest in technology, building systems, and facilities, attentive to detail, interest in finance a plus.
