The RoleAspenTech is currently looking for a dynamic and energetic individual as a Principal Commercial Office Analyst focusing on sales forecasting process and analysis and business transformation in our Operations Finance team. This position is located in Bedford, MA but open to considering locations in the East Coast time zone.

Your Impact
  • Maintain and develop advanced Excel models required for business operations.
  • Develop and implement forecasting metrics into the sales forecasting process.
  • Develop quarterly reporting analysis into the business for senior management.
  • Assist in the commercial transformation of business-lines to recurring revenue GTM.
  • Develop dashboards for better insights into the business partnering with Sales Operations.
  • Assist in development and presentation of sales metrics to support growth and profitability in the business, including churn, discount, and pipeline progression.
  • Perform complex ad hoc analysis as required in support of Sales or Finance Organizations.

What You'll Need
  • 8-12 years of financial analysis or data experience required, preferably experience in Sales Finance.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Advanced Excel skills required, including but not limited to Macros and VBA. MS Access familiarity a plus.
  • Experience with building dashboards in Tableau, SalesForce, PowerBI preferred.
  • Organizational skills and change management for working with large quantities of unstructured data.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results and adapt to changing business requirements; ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional presence and demeanor required.
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills are imperative.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and organized to work in a virtual team environment.
