Reporting to the Manager, Product Operations, the Senior Product Manager (SPM) is responsible for managing the product portfolio for a specific market segment. This includes developing new product features, enhancements, portfolio revisions and overall product lifecycle management as needed to achieve market position, membership goals and profitability targets. The SPM position is a highly visible, self-directed position, with exposure to all levels of management and requires a high level of operational as well as strategic focus. The SPM will make recommendations to Manager on product changes that would improve competitive positioning, mitigate cost for the member or Mass General Brigham Health Plan, streamline or increase integrity of internal processes that ultimately enhances the overall consumer experience. He/she collaborates with internal departments including Sales, Finance, Actuarial, Compliance, Marketing, Corporate Communications, IT, Configuration, Provider Network Management, Project and Process Management Organization, Customer Service, and externally with Accounts, Brokers, Intermediaries and Government Agencies.

BA or BS degree required or the equivalent combination of training and experience, plus 7-10 years of related experience
7-10 years of product management, sales, marketing, or strategic planning, preferably at a health plan
